Write a poem from the perspective of a flower that is about to bloom.

I am closed still waiting to bloom                                                                                                                                         But you are already done

Still sitting in this room

But you sit there staring at the sun

No matter the day nor the night

I will always be here

closed so tight

and you will always be there

Then comes a day so silent and bright

I feel the wind inside it all

Soon I open Now

All I know is happiness and all I think is happy thoughts

  • Mariah,
Beautiful poem, just beautiful. I love the part
“No matter the day nor the night
    I will always be here
    closed so tight
and you will always be there.” I love what you write it has a soul.
