Poems to America

Lady Liberty,

Oh, how you stand proud and tall.

A beacon of hope, of light, of spirit.

Taking in the immigrants,

Treating them all the same.

You are a lighthouse, your torch, so bright,

That beckons us in like moths to a light.

Standing for liberty, independence, and freedom.

We look to you,

A symbol of liberty, of justice, of freedom, of hope, of a possible future.

You are the only Lady Liberty.
