We are all being affected by the Wuhan coronavirus, some people are facing more challenges than others, some are losing family members, while others are stuck at home, but we are all doing what we can. Meanwhile there are people out there who are continuing to work to supply us with food and treatment and protection, so we all have to work together to get through. One big help that everyone can do is social distancing, which is why we’re all stuck at home, but just because we’re all stuck at home doesn’t mean we all have to isolate ourselves. Right now we have the technology to stay connected in times like this, we have online education, texting, meetings, letters and video chats, not to mention social games and media. We have the ability to stay connected across distances, so we have to use it and not let ourselves turn into moles. This is a list of popular social medias, games, video calls and messaging platforms:
- Google Hangouts
- Write About
- and many more…
Looking at this list you can see that we are almost constantly connected, and although some things on this list are not kid friendly, half of them are. Another thing to keep in mind is not to be glued to your device and never do anything else, in fact a time like this is perfect to take up a hobby, you could try cooking, start a youtube channel or blog, art, singing, dancing, a martial art, writing, reading, crosswords, word searches, puzzles, practice an instrument or even the hobby I’m taking up; sewing. Just like social medias, these are only off the top of my head (not literally) there are so many more, now is the time to find something interesting about yourself and grow in it. So what are you going to do? Post your answer in the comments please!
