Would you live to 130 if you could?

This is a reality for babies born today given the technological developments occurring. There is even talk that cancer will be curable. The idea of living to 130 raises a lot of other questions which may help you decide if you’d like to live that long: is the quality of your life more important than the longevity of it? Will you have companions? Will this change the age of retirement? How will you support yourself? Could you add to society/community at this age? How will you be viewed/accepted by society at this age?

This question was taken from New Zealand’s ‘What Next?’ series. The result was interesting. This article provides more background for those not able to view it on TVNZ OnDemand. The first 20 minutes relate directly to this question.
