Every post has the potential for starting a meaningful conversation, but commenting on digital writing from their peers in a positive and helpful way may not come naturally to your students. Not to worry, however, because our friend Roscoe is here to lend a hand! This video is designed to help frame your class discussions about commenting with some basic strategies and tips for comment structure.
Student comments can be moderated by the teacher if desired (see how to manage student accounts) and once students have the basics of commenting down, you can help them develop further peer feedback strategies using comment stems.
